Angela d’Audney presents a programme in which ordinary New Zealanders pose questions to an invited panel member.
“This a forum in which we’ve brought New Zealanders from all over the country to challenge people in the news. People whose decisions, or actions, affect our lives. Our guest tonight is the Minister of Finance Mr Roger Douglas, whose policies have had the most profound effect on us all, since he told control of this country’s economy when the fourth Labour Government swept to power in 1984. As Finance Minister, he’s rejected Government intervention and control, in the certainty that market forces will deliver social and economic equity. We’re joined tonight by a studio audience of very interested observers, from the business and academic communities.”
