Stories:
“Commodore Frank Bainimarama has announced the military has officially taken over the government in Fiji. Cabinet members have been evicted from government quarters. He has accused the government of corruption but is appealing to citizens to remain calm. We cross live to join “Fiji One's” coverage of events where Commodore Frank Bainimarama is holding a media conference. Plus... An American obstetrician has left his job at Southland Hospital, pending an investigation by the District Health Board and the Health and Disabilities Commissioner. The hospital received complaints from both medical staff and patients about the doctor's conduct, among the complaints were concerns about the deaths of two babies in his care. The same doctor also faces a lawsuit in the United States and there are records of successful malpractice claims against him. Reporter Natasha Utting investigates.

And the Coup Reaction. The Commodore is urging businesses to remain open and is pleading the international community to learn about what is really happening in Fiji before taking action. We cross live to reporter Jeff Hampton in Suva for reaction to Bainimarama's announcement that he has taken over the country." TV3; tv3.co.nz; 20/06/2007
