““Dancing with the Stars features celebrity contestants in a ballroom and Latin dancing competition, most of whom have no dance experience. They have just six weeks to rehearse with a professional dance partner in order to perfect a number of classical ballroom and Latin dances, which they will then perform on the live weekly broadcast.
The show is again presented by Jason Gunn, and co-hosted by Candy Lane.” TVNZ; tvnz.co.nz

In episode three (April 24th) all couples knew they had to step up the pace to keep in the spotlight, and we saw the competition heat up dramatically.
The couples danced either a lively Jive or the intense, aggressive Tango.
Unfortunately it wasn't Michael Laws' evening. After what Craig described as a "Stumbly, shambolic performance" he was awarded a low total score of 9 from the judging panel.
It was later announced that he was the next to be eliminated, after April Ieremia last Tuesday.
Michael took the blow well, emphasising how great it's been to work with Lauren and how much fun the experience had been.
Suzanne and Stefano took the scoreboard lead that Megan had retained for the last two episodes, with a performance that blew Carol Ann away, "Wow. I can't believe it!"
Audiences were also treated to a performance from 20-year-old Hayley Westenra, who sang 'The Water is Wide', a song from her latest album 'Treasure." TVNZ; tvnz.co.nz; 28/05/2007
