A New Zealand reality series that looks at the work of the Serious Crash Unit, a police team sent to road accidents, resulting in injury or death, to gather information, interview witnesses, and analyse forensic evidence. Tonight, 77 year old Elvera Whitley is killed when the car she was in being driven by her elderly partner crashed into a palm tree at the end of their driveway in the North Shore, and a serious crash in Grey Lynn occurred when an inexperienced driver failed to stop at an intersection with a stop sign and collided with a passing vehicle.
