Police in Samoa have confirmed that 21 year old prisoner Jonathan Crichton has appeared in court in Apia charged with the murder of mentally ill 38 year old New Zealand man Hans Dalton on Boxing Day. After initially claiming he took his own life, police now say Hans Dalton was assaulted and insist they did not cover up the evidence that he was attacked. (RVO)
