Group Manager Collection Growth – Pou Whanake
Claire’s achievements as a user and creator of sound and vision archives spans 15 years. She has significant experience championing bicultural practice across the public heritage sector, having held senior roles with Manatū Taonga the Ministry for Culture and Heritage, Te Reo o Taranaki Trust, and Auckland Council. With a background in iwi, hapū and whānau-led archiving, Claire has strong knowledge and experience in kaupapa-centred collection management. As an oral historian and writer, she has recorded and published widely on military and social history.
