What is in the Audiovisual Collection?
Researchers can search our online catalogue for the material they wish to view. Access to both our online catalogue and a selection of general material from our audiovisual collections is available at the Ngā Taonga desk in the main Reading Room on Level 1 of the National Library.
More Information on Accessing the collection.
If the material requested is not able to be instantly viewed on site, researchers can use the Ngā Taonga internal phone (located in the main Reading Room) to speak with a member of our research team. Requests can also be made via email to the Wellington office.
Where materials can be provided for viewing, Ngā Taonga will arrange an appointment for a viewing in the Katherine Mansfield Reading Room (between 10.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday).
